We relocated the successful quick serve store from Ballard to a full-serve site at Southlake Bar & Grill in the SLU area. We assisted in the design, marketing, menu, and developing the business deal. Neighborhood Grills is the manager and owner of the store and with the success that has occurred is looking for another site on the eastside. Opened in January 2011.

We assisted the first time owners with developing the Fast Casual Korean concept called Omabap. We took over a closed Baja Fresh and negotiated the deal with the landlord. We then assisted on the design, menu, staff training, bookkeeping set up and marketing. Opened in mid-April 2011.

Pearl Bar & Dining

Bellevue’s newest independent restaurant and lounge featuring Contemporary Northwest cuisine. Bradley Dickinson and Mikel Rogers, celebrated veterans of the local restaurant scene, bring their native Northwest perspective to Pearl, rich in substance and style. Pearl offers lunch and dinner, along with handcrafted signature cocktails, a vast selection of premium wine and beer, and gracious service. With daily happy hour, small plates and private dining, Pearl has options to suit every occasion. Pearl is sure to be a new high-water mark for hospitality in Bellevue and beyond. We secured the real estate, assisted in the design, fund raising, assembling the financials, menu direction, marketing, public relations and grand opening.

The New Marketing

Over the years, we have spent money on electronic and print media, public relations, direct mail, and more. Today, marketing can be highly effective and many times more cost efficient.

What I like about the new marketing paradigm is that it (1) is targeted to one’s existing guests, (2) can create spurts of sales and (3) helps create a stronger sense of the Brand. There are only six “must do” items for today’s operators. It doesn’t take a lot of time or effort, but one needs to be diligent and consistent to achieve maximum results.
